Getting Parakeeto setup takes just a few easy steps.

Step 1: Register for an Account

To start, head over to https://app.parakeeto.com/register/account 

You'll be asked to fill in some basic information like your name, you company's name, and your email address.

Your password will require the following criteria: 

- At least one number
- At least one capital letter
- At least one non-alphanumeric character ([email protected]#$%^&)
- At least 8 characters

Example: Parakeeto123#

Step 2: Verify your Email

You'll receive an email to verify your email address, click the "Verify Email" link to continue your account setup.


If you do not receive an email in your inbox, click on "I didn't get an email" to re-send it.

If after 10 minutes you still do not receive an email, go back to  https://app.parakeeto.com/register/account and set up another account, ensuring you've entered the right email address.

Step 3: Connect your Quickbooks Online Account

Before connecting your Quickbooks Account, you'll want to make sure it's configured properly. You can learn how to do so by reading this help article.

Connect to QuickBooks, Step 1


You'll be presented with a prompt to connect Parakeeto to your QuickBooks account. Click on "Connect with QuickBooks" to continue.

Next you'll be asked to enter your login details for QuickBooks and confirm access to your account. Follow the prompts to continue.

Note: What information do we need in your Quickbooks Account?

Parakeeto will only access the following information:

  • Client Names
  • Employee Names & Emails
  • Service Names 

Parakeeto will NOT access any financial information such as salaries, expenses, invoices.

Parakeeto will NOT send notifications or alerts to your clients for any reason. 

Connect to QuickBooks, Step 3

Finally you'll be presented with a screen to import your Client Names, Services and Employee information from QuickBooks.

Click on "Import" to continue:

Note: If the number of Clients, Services or Employees is incorrect, don't worry, these can be updated later.

Once Parakeeto has imported your data, click on "Continue to Site" to finish your setup and start using Parakeeto! 🎉🎊🐦
